With them was their son John (45, unmarried, Miller journeyman), and two grandsons: William Channing (16) and Edwin Haywood (11), both scholars.3 |
| Research Note | The name of William's wife 'Caroline' was likely an enumerator error. The age and birthplace are correct for Catherine. In the 1851 census, grandson William was the son of their son William and grandson Edwin was the son of their daughter Mary Ann. |
