The family lived in a 12 room stone house and owned 1 1/2 acres, 6 village lots, 1 house, 2 stores, and 2 outbuildings.5 |

Note. | You can find online a photo and description of the residence which was bought, partially built, about 1870 by Robert Linton. It was a 2 1/2 storey limestone building with 2-foot thick walls and an 8-foot front door and is now featured on a walking tour of historic Campbellford homes. The Lintons called the home Stoneleigh. |
