BirthRichard Franklin Oliver was born circa 1874 in Ontario.2
 
(with Parents) 1881 CensusFrank appeared on the 1881 Census of Seymour Township, Northumberland County, Ontario with his parents. He was 7 and born in Ontario.2 
(with Parents) 1901 CensusFrank appeared on the 1901 Census of Dufferin, Manitoba with his parents. He was 25, born in Dec 1876 in rural Ontario, and Methodist.3 
Land Record Between Nov 1907 and Dec 1907, Richard Franklin Oliver received a Western Land Grant in Alberta, being the SE part of Section 12 Township 31 Range 4 W5, signifying that he had improved the land and now held the title. There were two names on the grant - Richard Franklin Oliver and Benjamin Rye.1 
MarriageHe married Agnes Moore.4
 
1911 CensusFrank and Agnes Oliver appeared on the 1911 Census of Didsbury, Alberta. Frank was 37, born in Ontario in December 1873, of English origin, religion Salvation Army, occupation labourer. Agnes was 46, born in January 1865 in Ontario. At the end of Agnes' entry is the notation '4 years ---' [can't make out the last word].5 
1921 CensusAgnes Oliver appeared on the 1921 Census of Lacknerville, Didsbury, Alberta. She was a lodger with ??? Moore (female, age 82). Agnes was 58, married, born in Ontario, parents born in Ontario, Mennonite, no occupation recorded. Richard Franklin not yet found.6 
DeathHe died circa 1940 in Calgary, Alberta.4
 
Note.
Frank took up a homestead in the Rugby District SE 12-31-4-W5 which is now owned by Mr. Douglas Hosegood. Frank married Miss Agnes Moore. Her parents lived where Mrs. Carl (Avril) Russell lives now.
After selling his homestead, Frank lived in Bellingham, Washington for a few years. Later he spent some time in Edmonton, then moved to Calgary where he was associated with the Salvation Army.
He passed away in Calgary about the year 1940.4
