1911 CensusHarry and Clara S Jeffery [sic] appeared on the 1911 Census of Peterborough, Peterborough County, Ontario, at 57 Olive Avenue. Harry was age 40, born in England in Jany 1871, immigrated in 1874, of English origin, Anglican, and was employed as an armature builder in a factory, working 49 weeks at 60 hours/wk for $735. He held $1000 of life insurance, costing $10.50. Clara was 35, born in Oct 1876 in Ontario, was English, and Anglican.2 
(Witness) Marriage Harry and Clara Jeffery of Peterboro witnessed the marriage of Smith Rooksby and Clara's sister Sarah Elizabeth Arnott on 13 May 1914 in Peterborough, Peterborough County, Ontario.3 
1921 CensusHenry and Clara Jeffery appeared on the 1921 Census of North Monaghan Township, Peterborough County, Ontario. They rented their 6 room brick veneer home for $18. The family was Anglican. Henry was 50, born in Ontario, parents born in England, and worked in a clock works for $1200. [Western Clock Company, later Westclox, was located in Peterborough]. Clara was 43, born in Ontario, parents born in England.
Their children were Olive Helen (16), Stephen (13), and Clarence (11.)4
