Petitions of Insolvent Debtors, to be heard at Justice Hall, in the Old Bailey, London, on Tuesday the 20th of November 1821, at Nine o'Clock in the Forenoon. Godart, Herbert, formerly of No. 34, Evesham-Buildings, Somer's Town, afterwards of No 6, Midford-Place, Tottenham-Court-Road, and late of 52, Greek-Street, Soho-Square, all in Middlesex, Carver, Gilder, and Composition Ornamental-Manufacturer Notice of opposition to the discharge of any Prisoner must be entered in the book at this Office, three clear days, exclusive of Sunday, before the day of hearing. The schedules are filed, and may be inspected every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, between the hours of Ten and Four, up to the last day for entering opposition.7 |

1841 Census | Herbert and Elizabeth appeared on the 1841 Census of St George Hanover Square, Westminster, at Ranelagh Grove Pimlico, enumerated 6 Jun 1841. Herbert was 45, a Carver, and was born in this county. Elizabeth was 35 and born in the county. With them were Mary (15) and Arthur (1). Note that the 1841 census records ages rounded down to the nearest 5 years, does not record relationships, and only indicates whether or not the person was born in the county.11 |
1851 Census | Herbert and Elizabeth appeared on the 1851 Census of St George Hanover Square, Westminster, at 30 Charlwood Street. There are four families at this address and they were in the Pimlico ecclesiastical district. Herbert was 59, a Journeyman Wood Carver, and was born in Middlesex.
