In the Name of God Amen I Mary Knowles Widow of Joseph Knowles late of Odson in the County of Leicester Deced being of sound and disposing Mind Memory and understanding Do make this my Last Will and Testament in manner following. I give devise and bequeath unto John Piddock of Ashby dlazouch in the County of Leicest and Robt Green of Normanton in the same County and their Heirs All my Messuages Cottages Lands Tenaments and Hereditaments in Nelston in the said County of Leicester In Trust that they and the Survivor of them and the Heirs of such Survivor Do and shall Sell and Convey the same to my Son Wm Knowles for the Sum of seven hundred pounds if he shall think fit to accept the same at that price within three months after my Decease and in case of his Refusal or non Compliance within the time limited as aforesd Then that my said Trustees and the Survivor of them and his Heirs shall sell and Convey the same premis as soon as may be afterward to the best purchaser or purchasers that can be got for the same and out of the Purchase Money ---- --- to pay to my said Son William the Sume of three hundred pounds which I now owe him and all Interest that shall be due thereon at the Time of my Decease and pay the Remainder of the purchase money to my Executors hereafter named and as I have already made some provision for all my children Except my Son Richard and my two Daughters Mary and Margaret now I do by this my Will give to them Respectively the sum of three hundred pounds apiece and to my Son John I give fifty pounds all the Residue of my effects I will shall be equally distributed amongst all my children which shall Survive me and I nominate & appoint my sd sons William and John executors of this my last will and testament
