1901 CensusHenry and Ether [sic] Smart appeared on the 1901 Census of St Pancras, London, at 1 Twisden Rd. Henry was 30 and a cashier for a rubber works. Esther was 26. Their children were Henry (7) and Violet (5). They were all born in St Pancras. With them was grandmother Esther Goose (77, born in Norwich, Norfolk.)9 
1911 CensusHenry George and Esther Smart appeared on the 1911 Census of London NW, at 1 Twisden Road Highgate Road. Their dwelling had seven rooms. Henry was 40, a manager for a talking machine factory, and was born in London. Esther was 36, born in London, and was the mother of 2 children, both still living. They had been married 18 years. Their children were Henry Hastings (17, apprentice to organ factory) and Violet (15). Their children Henry Hastings and Violet Esther were living with them.1 
DeathHenry died on 25 Dec 1921.10
