1891 CensusMary Ferney [sic] appeared on the 1891 Census of Bethnal Green, Middlesex, at 34 Old Bethnal Green Road. She was recorded as a wife and married, although her husband was not home for the census. She was 26 and born in Spitalfields London. Her daughters were Mary (7, born Clerkenwell) and Alice (2 1/2, born Bethnal Green). They occupied one room.
[Her husband was enumerated in the workhouse -- he was ill]2

Note.On 15 July 1895, Mary was married in St Augustine Haggerston parish, London to William Bruley, a bachelor house decorator who was the son of Samuel Bruley, velvet weaver, and 12 years older than she was. Mary's father was John Harrigan (bricklayer, deceased). Mary signed her name and William signed with an X.

They had a son Henry baptised in St Jude's Church, St Mary Whitechapel parish on 25 March 1896 [surname Brewley crossed out and replaced with Bruley] and their address was 3 Osborne Street. 
DeathMary died in 1899.4
