Passenger ListA likely arrival record for Annie was a 1905 manifest for the Ionian which departed from Liverpool October 13 1904 and arrived in Montreal the 22nd. Travelling in steerage was an Annie Higgins age 24 [sic], single, born in England, from Middlesex, destination Toronto, occupation Assistant. She was enumerated immediately after Geo Jeffries (29, returning Canadian, baker) and Mrs Jeffries (50, Lancs).6 
MarriageShe married Armen Alexander Coorian on 26 May 1906 in St Catharines, Lincoln County, Ontario.

They were both Methodist and married by David A Moir. The witnesses were Robert H McPherson of Tarbet Ontario and A L Moir of St Catharines.7 
1911 CensusAlx [sic] and Annie Coorion appeared on the 1911 Census of Toronto, Ontario. Next to them was Annie's brother George Higgins and his wife Annie. Alex was born in March 1877, age 33, origin Armenian, religion Methodist, occupation Traveler [probably; hard to read] earning $720 in 1910, had $500 worth of life insurance costing $25. Annie was born in November 1877 in England, age 33, religion Chirst [sic]. The year of immigration was not recorded. Their children were Alexson (4) and Aghavnie (2.)8 
Passenger ListThe Coorian family was listed on a Port Huron, Michigan border crossing ledger dated Apr 1922 The family included Armen (45, occupation provincial? officer, Armenian origin), Annie (43, English origin), Alexson (15), Ahavine (13), Gerard (8), and Zabell (5).
Their last permanent residence was Toronto. Armen's nearest relative there was nephew Michael Sellyean of 112 Carlton Street. Annie nearest relative there was brother Bert Higgins of 224 Lumsden Ave. Their final destination was Los Angeles, California where they had bought a home at 2845 Frances Ave.
Armen was last in the United States at NY and Mass in 1904. He was 5'7" tall, medium complexion, brown hair, brown eyes, birthplace Bardizag Turkey. Annie was 5'3", fair complexion, brown hair, blue eyes and was born in London England. The children were all born in Toronto.9 
(Widowed) DeathHer husband Armen died on 6 Mar 1929 in California, where they lived.10 
1930 CensusAnnie Courian appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Los Angeles, California, at 518 Spaulding. She was a widow, age 52, birthplace England, no occupation. She rented her home for $35 a month and did not have a radio. With her were her children Alexson (23, order clerk), Dorty E Currie (21, married, stenographer), Gerard (16) and Zabette C (13) who were all born in Canada and whose father was born in Turkey. Annie and the two youngest children were aliens and the two older children were naturalized.11 
NaturalizationAnnie Adelaide Courian filed a Petition for Naturalization on 3 Sep 1935 in the United States District Court of Los Angeles, California. The petition was filed under Sec 2, act of Sept 22, 1922. Information from the petition: residence 807 No. Hyperion Ave. Los Angeles, Housewife, born in London England on Nov 12 1877, husband naturalized December 2 1927 at Los Angeles, was married to Armen Courian (deceased) on May 26 1906 at St Catherines Canada, husband born at Turkey Feb 17 1877 and was naturalized in Canada, entered the US at Port Huron Michigan on March 29 1922 for permanent residence.
She has 4 children: Alexson 3/4/07; Ahavine 2/4/09; Gerard 4/24/13; Zabell 9/12/17; all born Toronto Canada and reside in Los Angeles.
Her last foreign residence was Toronto Canada and she entered the U.S. at Port Huron under the name of Annie Coorian on March 29, 1922 on the Grand Trunk Railway. Has resided in Los Angeles County since April 2 1922.
Witnessed by Willard G Schober of 1518 Wilton Pl, secretary and Betty McMahan of 759 No Van Ness Ave, housewife that they have known her since July 1930.4 
1940 CensusAnnie Adelaide Higgins appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Inglewood, Los Angeles County, California, at 121 41st Street. She was a lodger with two ladies. Annie was 64, a widow with 2 years of high school education, birthplace England, naturalized, lived in Los Angeles in 1935, had income from other than wages or salary.12 
DeathAnnie died on 5 Apr 1977 in Los Angeles County, California.
