STEALING BILLIARD BALLS>
Vernon Fernee, 17, barman, of Barnsbury-road, was charged, on remand, with stealing three billiard balls, value £3 3s, from the "White Lion," High-street, Clerkenwell.
The balls were missed after the prisoner and a friend, who was last week discharged by the Magistrate with a caution, had left the billiardroom.
Mr Ricketts pleaded guilty for the prisoner and stated that Fernee yielded to temptation, took the balls, and tried to pawn them.
Mr Bros--- bound him over to come up for judgment if called upon.5
