Esther was 45 and not born in the county. They had two male and one female servants. Note that the 1841 census records ages rounded down to the nearest 5 years, does not record relationships, and only indicates whether or not the person was born in the county.3 
1851 CensusEsther Morgan appeared on the 1851 Census of St Albans, Hertfordshire, at Holywell Hill, enumerated 30 Mar 1851. Esther was a widow, age 59, a Landed Proprietress, and was born in London. Her daughter Emma was living with her, as well as a domestic servant.2 
(Admon) ProbateEsther Morgan was granted administration of Thomas Fernee's estate on 22 Apr 1851 in Prerogative Court of Canterbury, London. Son John also proved the will, with power reserved to son Thomas.4 
DeathEsther died on 21 May 1868 in 196 Marylebone Road, Middlesex.5

The Will with a Codicil of Esther Fernee late of 41 Portland-villas Notting Hill in the County of Middlesex Widow deceased who died 21 May 1868 at 196 Marylebone-road in the County aforesaid was proved at the Principal Registry by the oaths of Henry Ellwood of 16 Adelaide-road Haverstock Hill in the County aforesaid Gentleman and John Fernee of 18 Denmark-villas Ealing in the County aforesaid Gentleman the Executors. Effects under £600.5
 
Research Note John Fernee, the executor of her estate, was the son of her husband Thomas by his first marriage.
