George was 32, a tailor [sic], neither an employer nor employed, e.g. working on his own accord, and was born in Favisham [sic, the enumerator in Lincoln was perhaps unfamiliar with the place] Kent. Fanny was 34 and born in Thames Ditton Surrey. Their son Chas Henry was 5 and born in the City of Lincoln. They had one visitor, Walter Adams (single, 25, joiner, London.)7 |
Research Note | The occupation of Tailor in the 1891 census is the only time he was noted to have that occupation. It is unlike his other recorded occupations so may well be an enumerator error. |
