Arthur Peter was 27, was a Sign Glass Writer and an employer. He was born in Wapping, London. Mary was 27 and also born in Wapping. Their children Mary Annie, Margaret Elizabeth and Lilian Louisa were with them.3 
1901 CensusMary Oliphant and Arthur Peter Godart appeared on the 1901 Census of St Mary Stratford Bow RD, London, at 30 Coborn Road. Arthur was 37, a sign writer working on his own account and was born in Wapping. Mary was 39 and born in Wapping. Their children Mary Annie, Margaret Elizabeth, Lilian Louisa, Rose Dorothy, Jessie Ivy and Arthur William were living with them.2 
(Widowed) DeathHer husband Arthur died circa 1902.4 
Death RegistrationHer death was registered in the quarter ending Jun 1918 in Poplar RD, although Mary is a common name and the index entry possibly refers to an undiscovered Godart.5
